Jackie Walker

My Story

Dr. Walker graduated with a B.S. in Kinesiology from UWEC in 2001 and completed her Doctor of Physical therapy from Marquette University in 2005.  Dr. Walker has over 17 years of experience in a variety of physical therapy settings and has expertise in treating multiple orthopedic and neurological conditions.  Dr. Walker has over 10 years of experience working onsite in the industrial setting as well as working with patients with workers compensation.  Her range of practice also includes school based pediatrics.  She is certified in Dry needling thru Kineticore, CO, completing both Level I & II courses and has over 10 years of experience in practice. Dr. Walker is also a Fellow of Applied Functional Science, having completed a 40 week fellowship thru the Gray Institute in 2009. Other therapy interests include vestibular rehab. Dr. Walker believes in looking deeper to find the main cause of her client's dysfunction rather than chasing symptoms.

 

During her free time, Dr. Walker can be found at one of the many Sporting clays courses Wisconsin has to offer. She also enjoys gardening, baking, canning and keeping up with her dairy farming family in south central Wisconsin.
